Harriet Nelson, 91, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Park Gardens in Fergus Falls. Harriet Irene Sherbrooke was born October 12, 1933 to George and Hannah (Kringen) Sherbrooke in Pelican Rapids, MN. She attended Pelican Rapids Public School and graduated in 1952. On January 24, 1953, Harriet married Gordon D. Nelson in Pelican Rapids. She was a devoted wife, loving mother of four, proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Harriet dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. She found joy in the simple things - a good cup of coffee, cooking family meals, hosting family celebrations, and giving out samples at the local grocery stores. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit touched all that knew her. Above all, she considered her greatest accomplishment the family she raised and the love she shared with them.
