SCAMBLER TOWNSHIP AGGREGATE
PRODUCTION TAX
Ordinance No. 2026-01
On May 20, 2026, the Town Board adopted the above-referenced ordinance to establish a local aggregate production tax. The ordinance contains legislative findings, authority, and purpose statements, definitions, and imposes an aggregate production tax as provided under Minnesota Statutes, section 298.75. It establishes tax rates for aggregate material removed from or imported into the Town, sets rules for when the tax applies, establishes penalties for noncompliance, and provides how tax revenue shall be apportioned. A copy of the ordinance is available on the Town's website and may be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk.
