Lida TOWNSHIP Notice of Order for Hearing on Town Road Mapping

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the town board of the Town of Lida, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing at the Lida Town Hall at 42206 230th Avenue, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota 56572, at 2:00 p.m. on July 28, 2025 for the purpose of allowing public comment and questions on the adoption or amendment of an official town road map to be filed at the office of the Otter Tail County Recorder to record the town roads of Lida Township.
The roads to be recorded will be as four rod roads with the official and permanent alignment being 33 feet on either side of the existing center line, except that (1) town line roads may be recorded for only the 33 feet located within the town holding that public hearing, and (2) a road previously recorded as less or greater than 66-feet right-of-way may be recorded at its actual width and the width must be duly recorded on the map. The adoption and amendment of a town road map is proceeding pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §164.35.
The Town Board's resolution and order setting public hearing on Town Road Mapping, Lida Township together with the proposed official map and legal descriptions will be available at the hearing.
Those persons who desire to be heard with reference to the proposed town road mapping will be heard at this hearing.
